Think in the best interest of your Vehicle
In any motor vehicle accident, particular one whereby you have to have your vehicle towed from the incident. The simplest and most effective course of action to take. Is to be you put the best interests of your vehicle first! Not that of your insurer!

Get information from the police officer if one is on the scene:

Prepare the contact details of your preferred and trusted repairer. As following your collection of information from the incident, you must notify your insurer of incident, as you must stress that you have a chosen repairer in mind. Upon informing your insure you must then contact your repairer, where you should then clearly outline where you believe your vehicle has been damaged. This will ensure all repairs required, will be outlined within the quotation. Which will ensue that the quotation is as specific and as detailed as possible. This quotation and any images collected from yourself and/or repairer, will then be sent to the insurance company.
